Overall, the Honor 70 is a solid and slim slab with a good user interface, good cameras, and great performance for the price. I’m going to guess that this was done to save money because some things are missing. The device can’t be charged wirelessly, and its internal parts are just average, so it can only be used for activities that don’t require much power. On the other hand, it seems to be the best choice for a very large number of people.
HONOR 70 PERFORMANCE
The Nothing and the Honor 70 have a Snapdragon 778G Plus processor and 8 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM). This gives the Honor 70 some mid-range firepower (1).
I rarely saw people stutter in the real world when I was going about my daily life. You can stress it out by doing things that use the CPU a lot. When you do this, some apps, like Adobe Photoshop mobile, may stop working for a few seconds. This can also happen when you use a lot of apps at once. But you won’t have any problems with things you need to do, like social media, email, or games.
HONOR 70 BATTERY LIFE & CHARGING
The Honor 70 has a battery with a 4,800 mAh, giving it good battery life. Normal use for me includes a few hours of web browsing, listening to podcasts and Spotify all day, social media use, photography, gaming, and watching YouTube videos in the evening. It lasted from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. with 20% of its battery still left.
Because of the 66W SuperCharge technology, you can go from having no battery life to having just over 55% of your battery life in about 20 minutes. You can go from having no battery life to having a full battery in about 40 minutes. But the bundle might have been more attractive if it came with wireless charging.
HONOR 70 CAMERAS
The cameras on Honor phones have always been a little hit-or-miss, but the Honor 70 manages to defy expectations with photos that are good, accurate in terms of color, and have great clarity and bokeh.
Let’s talk about the details for a moment. You’ll find a 2MP depth sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide and macro camera with an aperture of f/2.2, and a 54MP main camera with a Sony IMX800 sensor with a resolution of 54 megapixels and an aperture of 1.9. You can find a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front of the device.
This means that it is a good all-around camera for capturing quick moments. In the 4-in-1 pixel-binned photos, finer details stand out, and the light has been carefully adjusted to give good results with both the primary and ultra-wide lenses in most situations.
MAGIC UI 6.1 for the HONOR 70
Honor’s Magic UI 6.1 is built on top of Android 12 and comes with a few pre-installed apps that can be removed with a few minutes of work. However, the experience as a whole is simple and easy to use.
AI-supported Because YOYO’s recommendations function suggests apps based on the user’s situation, it helped me improve my phone workflow’s efficiency in several important ways. Also, the user interface makes good use of the large screen space by including multi-window multitasking, which makes it possible for applications to work together smoothly.
You can also use the great file management system, which lets you get to all your files, like movies, documents, and more, from one place. It’s like the Files app on the iPhone, but it’s much better because it lets you get to everything on your phone.
